It's a feeling, odd, to acknowledge an end

To see its horizon approach.

In the last of the light, something changes within—

greater clarity comes to the soul.

It's a focus that men strive for

It's a light only dreamed of

It's a feeling that no words can reach.

The end is a season that's enjoyed only once

Then it's over

The end is complete.

And what awaits after

won't quite feel the same

Because of all that you learned

and who you became.
