The meek and gentle hand of praise
supports the fragile soul.
The unifying arm of trust
turns parts into a whole.
When all we try to do each day
is truly love along the way,
until each person longs to stay,
we'll build the place called "home."
Within the world, there can be strife—
a lack of empathy—
which drives apart the human soul
and breaks 'the family.'
That family, who once knew "home"
The ones who'd never felt alone
Now cannot seem to ever know
That what they need is love.
For only love forever binds
Into what cannot be broke.
While everything else can tear apart
or burn with fire and smoke.
For love is when we try to build,
to care, to feel, uplift and heal,
until we're bound with His great seal
of everlasting life.
For life forever would be a sad myth.
Unless we loved all those whom we were with.
