Month 12: August

A year has passed since I became

a missionary for the Lord,

and in that time I've felt the strain,

but also the reward.

A reward of knowledge, experience pure,

and a great love for this life:

A time we have to deepen faith

by choosing Jesus Christ.

In pure simplicity I cry,

'there is no other way!'

'We have to walk by his bright light

or else we'll fall away.'

I fall away, I've felt the pain,

At least in some degree.

Because of this I point to him

who says, "Come Follow Me."

Those who listen feel his love

and are cherished by his grace.

They see the fulness of his plan and

Feel the warmth of his embrace.
