The garden of life steadily grows

Or otherwise, withers and fades.

Where perseverance, love, and patience are shown

Success is never far away.

For when one enters a garden unkempt,

full of life recently dead,

Discouragement must be cut at the root

to focus on the vision ahead.

For gardening, really, is all about faith:

you have to believe seeds will grow,

then patiently wait and work with your might

Before the fruits of your efforts are known.

Then by and by, you taste of the fruit

that is sweet above all that is sweet—

enhanced by the diligence, patience and faith

You put forth towards labor complete.
