The mantle is real, I have felt it—placed

on my shoulders, square, and ready to face

the heavy load, for really I see

The Savior, his mighty hands, strengthening me.

In all things, it's Him: The Master, still,

who labors the hardest; his vineyard to heal.

My task: to be willing, humble, and firm;

not proud of myself, but striving to learn.

I'm called to the work, the path lay ahead.

One day at a time, in His footsteps I'll tread.
