"And inasmuch as they follow the counsel which they receive, they shall have power after many days to accomplish all things pertaining to Zion."

Doctrine and Covenants 105:37 A great week before moves! As always, we were able to plan all the moves for the upcoming transfer with President McCrudden as well as the calendar for the next five or so weeks! I am really excited to experience what the Lord has in store for me and to strive to accomplish his purposes each day. This upcoming transfer will be full of great new companionships and conferences led by the spirit of the Lord to fulfil his purposes here in this region. This week as well us as the assistants were able to have interviews with President McCrudden, something I haven't been able to do for my entire tenure here. It was unbelievably valuable to sit down with him and to receive counsel, encouragement, and guidance regarding my missionary service and my preparations to return to home. I am always grateful for him and his love. I have never once been in the same room as President McCrudden and not felt the Spirit of God tutoring me in some way. He is a man that is full of light and the truth of heaven. He has completely devoted his life to serving God and humbly does so, boldly testifying of the things he has experienced along the way. I view him as a dear friend and a leader. In life we are always blessed with people who can give us counsel. Whether it's from parents or siblings, teachers or peers, leaders or students, there are always people to guide us and help us along the way. Although it is true that life is meant to give us joy, I believe we can't expect to always find such joy on our own. We need to accept help and counsel from others and help one another find the joy that our Heavenly Father has in store for us. At the end of the day, really, it is His counsel that we must follow. Seek to find it in all you do, especially from those whom he has blessed you with. Life is good. God is wise. Don't give up. Elder Childers

Our friend Antony came over for dinner at the Mission Home! He taught us how to make an authentic, from scratch Indian dish. It was super fun and very tasty.
