Chapter 57: United Focus

"And the Lord called his people Zion, because they were of one heart and one mind, and dwelt in righteousness..."

What an incredible week. I really am so grateful for the opportunity I have to serve here in Scotland on my mission. I simply know that this is the work of Salvation, and in addition to that, I know that this is God's work. There is nothing that can stop it from progressing.

This week we experienced a lot of miracles as a Zone. Elder Danielson and I decided that this week we really wanted to focus the teams on helping our friends accept dates for baptism; taking that step of faith to invite people to prepare for something so crucial and life changing as baptism. We promised each of the teams in the Zone that as they prayed with faith and strove to do all they could could prepare for teaching and finding opportunities, they would each have opportunities to help people accept baptism.

Needless to say, each team in the Zone was able to help a friend accept a baptismal date, with the number of people preparing for baptism across the Zone effectively doubling. It was an incredible fulfillment of a blessing we were able to promise.

That is the power of striving to be one in faith-filled purpose.

The scriptures often speak on the importance of being reconciled unto Christ. What an important and profound Doctrine that is, and I invite you all to ponder what that means this week as you seek to unite yourself with those you love and ultimately, with God. Miracles will follow because this is his work and you are his child.

He knows and loves you perfectly.

Life is good.

God is wise.

Don't give up.
