Elder Childers

Something incredible I've come to internalize this week is that every single moment we have in this life is an opportunity to have a new beginning. Every second is a chance for us to start to be better. Every millisecond holds the potential of infinite growth and possibilities to fight for change—personal change, otherwise known as repentance, all of which is possible because of Jesus Christ and his Atonement for each of us.

He has given us the opportunity to become better, an opportunity presented to us in every moment. It leaves us with the choice of whether or not we are going to accept his sacrifice and strive to improve every single day. Conscious effort will bring miraculous growth—God magnifies the faithful endeavors of His children to become who He wants them to be. Seek His will and take steps forward.

This week I said goodbye to Elder Logan, along with a couple other people in my district. It was crazy, and now I have a new companion and basically a new district. So much 'new' can be kind of overwhelming, especially because I had really come to love who Elder Logan was and who we were able to be as a companionship. He will be deeply missed. As I prepared for these new changes, I made goals on who I wanted to be, and as I've come to interact and live with all of the new things in my life right now, I can honestly say I am seeing the seeds of real change.

I have many things I need to improve in my life, I will be the first to say that and accept it. Every day I am humbled by the way God wants to use me to bless others. I try my best to be in tune and ready to be played by the Master Musician: to be prepared to be an instrument in His hands. I always need to be better.

Because of Christ I can be, and will be.

Life is good.

God is wise.

Never give up.
