"A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things..."
Matthew 12:35
Another week of good memories, but also goodbyes. This was the last week of the transfer, and so we found out where different missionaries would be going to as we moved into the next transfer. Our zone is changing quite a bit! All in the best ways I feel.
Change is always hard, or at the very least it's uncomfortable. These Elders and Sisters have become some of my best friends, and I've really enjoyed being with them these past one or two, or in one special case three, transfers. With them, I've learned an incredible amount of lessons on how to be a better missionary. I've grown from their examples, and as we all part ways, I wish them all the best. I know each of them will find peace and success in their earnest efforts.
I say part ways because I, as well, am leaving the Glasgow Zone! I'm heading to Dundee to be companions with my good friend Elder Danielson which I am very excited for. I feel that together we will find great success.
As I've thought about my experiences here in Airdrie, I've really come to love this scripture in the Bible. I've been able to see many good things come to pass during my tenure here, and it's been a real privilege to be a part of it all. The members of Airdrie ward will always a special place in my heart—their unique and charming kindness has really blessed my life and helped me to feel closer to my Heavenly Parents.
Here, with them, I feel at home.
The treasure of my heart is the privilege to serve as a missionary, and oh how I've enjoyed doing so in Airdrie, The Holy Land, or as some members refer to it as, Zion.
Life is good.
God is wise.
Don't give up.
