"Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation."

Psalm 68:19

Wow what an incredible week! I thought it would be fun to go through my week and share an experience I had from each day to give you all a little more insight into what my life is like.

On Tuesday we met up with this guy who I found through facebook who wanted to learn more about God. After about five minutes into the lesson, he stood up, took a selfie, and then walked away without saying anything. About an hour later he posted the picture on Facebook with a caption kind of making fun of us. It got like, hundreds of likes, so you can say I'm sort of famous now.

Later in the day however I found another person through facebook who we ended up going to his home that evening and teaching him! The spirit was so strong as he told us about his struggles, the confusion he was feeling, and how he was just looking for something more in life. As we testified of the reality of God and the power of prayer, he was overcome with emotion, and as we prayed, tears came from all of us. A sacred evening.

Wednesday we did some service for an incredible, elderly woman in the ward who needed help organizing her flat! We go over there every week and we are making serious progress. This week, I finally convinced her to throw away the 6 year old package of moldy sausages she's been holding onto! That was a victory.

Thursday we went a did service for the Kennedy family! Emily, who is on date for the 26th, was invited so she came as well and got to know them all. Their five children were running around as always, and it was so fun. After service we taught about eternal families and temples, and as Brother Kennedy testified of the truthfulness of his eternal marriage, his young children running around everywhere playing with each other, the spirit strongly bore witness to us all of the importance of the family. Emily, through tears, expressed her gratitude to know that God has given us a way to have happy and eternal families.

Friday at 6:30 AM we got up and went over to a members home to help him move wood chips into his backyard! It was so fun, reminded me of the good ole days at Cherry Hill Parks with my man Elder Rich. After we helped him out he made us some bacon sandwiches for breakfast and we got to meet his family! Later in the afternoon we did more service for another member and helped her in her garden! I pulled at least 176 stones out of the garden bed so that grass she planted better grow!

Saturday we got to spend most of the day with Elder and Sister Glazebrook, the senior missionaries in our zone! They took us out to a nice dinner and I just learned so much from their life stories and genuine love they showed us. I will always be grateful for them, and for the hope they helped me feel for my future. Made me ponder how much of an impact my Childers grandparents had on the people they served on their missions!

Sunday was insane: we had four of our friends come to church in person! We have only ever been able to get one to come this whole transfer so it was miraculous. They all really enjoyed it as well. Later in the evening we were able to go spend time with Andrew in his flat and have dinner with him. The conversation we had on the Book of Mormon was powerful; I simply know it is true.

And today was great. Nerf war as a district at a castle on the cliffs of Scotland was definitely unforgettable.

In it all, there are just so many blessings each day. Daily benefits given to us all from God. They are there, I promise, you just need to open your heart and look for them. Each and every day our Heavenly Father is leading us gently along our roads of life. I'm grateful for that.

Life is good.

God is wise.

Don't give up.
