"...the very God of Israel...cometh, according to the word of the angel...and the world, because of their iniquity, shall judge him to be a thing of naught; wherefore they scourge him, and he suffereth it; and they smite him, and he suffereth it. Yea, they spit on him, and he suffereth it, because of his loving kindness and his long-suffering towards the children of men."

1 Nephi 19:7-9

Here we are at the end of another six weeks! Time continues to fly by and I am shocked that this upcoming week I will hit seven months on my mission. The longer I am out here the more I realize I am coming to know my Savior, Jesus Christ, deeper and deeper each day.

I also am beginning to understand his love more. His love for me, for you, and for all of us.

The grace of God is incredibly abundant. It is manifest all around us in the most intricate ways and the tiniest details. I am so grateful for the love of God the Father manifest through the Savior. Jesus Christ truly is the only way we can ever have hope to return to live with God again, the only way we can feel peace and joy in this life, and the only way we can grow and become better.

For us, he chose to yield himself up as the eternal, Atoning Son—the great and last sacrifice—to suffer the full demands of justice for each of us, an unimaginable, neither fathomable quantity. Yet he did it all, and he did it willingly.

For us.

Because of his loving kindness: Christ truly loves us more than we can imagine.

And because of his long-suffering towards us, he mercifully pardons us as we make mistake after mistake and yet strive to come closer to him. Of us, he simply asks our best effort today, with a promised hope that tomorrow he'll still be right there with us. For us, he offers us everything in exchange for so little, all under the looming shadow of the incalculable price paid for us.

But to him, we are priceless.

Remember always the love God and Christ have for you. Strive to remain close to them, seek the spirit, and your eyes will be opened to the bounteous mercies of him who suffered it all, even Jesus Christ, and God the Father.

Life is good.

God is wise.

Never give up.
