"In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him."
1 John 4:9
"[The] Redeemer...will come, and...he remembereth every creature of his creating; he will make himself manifest unto all."
Mosiah 27:30
To be honest this week was really overwhelming, and for a lot of this week I felt very stressed out, high-strung, and extremely inadequate. I found thoughts like these coming into my mind with full force:
Am I really enough?
Does God know me? Does he really understand me?
Does Jesus Christ really want to forgive me? How could I ever be forgiven?
It's been hard! I would be lying if I said it hasn't. I've really been praying hard and striving to know the answers to these questions, and striving to be better in all areas of my work. In these efforts, it really felt like I was alone.
It wasn't until today I realized I wasn't.
Today I really felt the love of God being given to me through different manifestations, so clear and exquisite that I will cherish them for a long time. Of course this isn't the first time, but I definitely needed it. Manifestations seen through nature, leaders, and a really good friend. It goes to show that I've learned God communicates with us perfectly, and in the various ways that He sees fit in His infinite wisdom.
I know that our Redeemer, Jesus Christ remembers each of us always.
I know he will make himself manifest to us all, in his own time and in his own way.
Keep striving to seek him and remember him in all things. I promise the sunrise will come. Whether it's a bad day, week, month, or year, the Savior is always there, and he always loves you.
"Life is so hard, but know that you are doing great. It matters what's in your heart, and in your heart, you're seeking Him."
Life is good.
God is wise.
Never give up.
